Our laboratory is located in Uruguay, Montevideo

Located in South America strategically between Argentina and Brazil, Uruguay is a country with resources largely unchanged by man. Unpolluted water supplies in agricultural areas give the country unbeatable conditions for ecological production.

A study by Columbia and Yale universities ranks Uruguay third in the world out of 142 countries in environmental care. Uruguay has the sixth largest surface area in the world dedicated to organic production.

Our story started mediating 1905, when in the sky of Montevideo there was, not standing out still the figure of the traditional Salvo Palace, the Drugstore Matias Gonzalez already was elaborating botanical products, supporting this way throughout the whole XXth century.

In the year 2000 the Laboratory Matias Gonzalez is born, in the back-room of his drugstore, as several international laboratories

The Dr. Matias Gonzalez was one of the first experts of our native botany, bringing the popular knowledge over, to the science, applying them in benefit of the health and the beauty.

In 1947 the Drugstore Matias Gonzalez is acquired by Don Jorge Loffredo, his son continues with this legacy, the QF Milton Loffredo, who gives him a touch of modernity, adapting it to the current needs, uniting the knowledge of the native botany with the foreign one.

In 1985 the fourth generation joins, developing new offers (The Professional line of products, the Spa line and Aromatherapic line, among others) transmitting these knowledges across the “Technical Center of Professional training”.

The return to natural products and therapies that are lived in these years, gives argument to our convictions and demonstrates the validity of the path followed during these 100 years, without yielding to the trends of the different modes that they marked last century.

These ideas, which prioritize the protection of the health, avoiding diseases and living in harmony with the environment and with us themselves, were supported by thousand-year-old cultures and they were rejected by the modernism. Concepts that are being recaptured at present, in the search of Quality of life that one does not find in the society of consumption.

All these products, they are formulated for the woman of our century , in agreement to our ecological environment, nourishing habits and way of life, which allows more rapid, effective and lasting results,

The year 2006 mark the begining of the international expansion towards new markets, making concrete business with Dominican Republic and India.
